Description: The third annual Knickerbocker Ice Festival honors Rockland Lake\’s history as an ice-harvesting epicenter of the 19th century. It also celebrates the dedication of Ice House #3 as an offical historical site in Clarkstown and kicks off the quadricentennial celebration of the Hudson River by Western explorers. Description: Fasten your seatbelt and get ready for a very unusual ride - to Mars. \”Crewmembers\” attend a briefing session then select tasks to perform in teams on the mission like Navigation, Medical, Communication, and Life Support. Teams work in a simulated spacecraft and mission control. Tasks are detailed enough to feel real and challenging, simple enough for kids to do, and fun. The mission is a chance for families or individuals to have fun while learning the importance of working together to achieve a common goal.Price: $10 for children 8 and younger when accompanied by an adult
