Description: Sheep Shearing!
See the zoo\’s sheep get their annual haircut. Each session lasts a half hour and includes one sheep shearing plus demonstrations on spinning, dyeing, and knitting wool. Related artifacts will be displayed in the farmyard all day. All seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry to the demonstration area will begin 15 minutes before each session.

Description: GAGA Arts Festival 2009: SOHO Reborn in the Hudson Valley - Garnerville Arts and Industrial Center
Check out museum quality art while wandering the back alleys and alcoves of a historic, Civil War-era textile mill. There will be open studios; gallery exhibits; kids\’ art workshops; artistic demonstrations; live music and food. Last year\’s festival drew nearly 5,000 visitors from the Tri State region, including many art lovers from New York City.
