Loading ...I originally feel in love with Fall Fest at Matterhorn, but this is the second year it is not happening due to renovation. I was very happy last year to find that Secor Farms stepped up their event to fill in the gap. I was equally surprised to see the beautiful fields, lake and weeping willow trees hidden behind the greenhouse.

Children’s Book Festival staring JEFFREY & BOSSY FROG (SOLO)

Description: Our second children\’s book festival is almost here! On September 17, 2011, nearly fifty revered authors and illustrators will gather at Park Avenue Elementary School in the Village of Warwick, NY, for an all-day event celebrating literacy and creativity for children of all ages. Their books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Barnes & Noble Booksellers, and be happily autographed, too. Click here for a list of the authors and illustrators who have committed to participate.The Festival will also include three events for children and older kids sponsored by Community Supporters:
* 12:00 noon - Concert by Bossy Frog, sponsored by Provident Bank
* 2:00pm - Concert by David Jack, sponsored by the Village of Warwick.
* Manga Workshops with Misako in the Park Avenue School Library at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm, sponsored by WVT Communications. The workshops will be limited to 25 participants each (children and teens first, please); registration will be in-person at the Festival, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Suffern Library Storytime
Suffern Free Library Storytime is a favorite activity and the fall sessions are starting soon.
Storytime is more than just reading books, there is also arts and crafts and of course socializing at the library!
Sessions run 9/26-12/16 for ages newborn to 2nd grade. See their website to sign up starting September 12th!
