New City, N.Y.––The Historical Society of Rockland County, located at
20 Zukor Road in New City, is pleased to announce the return of the
ever-popular Annual Miniature and Dollhouse Show, with this year’s show The Child in All of Us running through March 1, 2009.

This popular show features two galleries of antique pedal cars, dollhouses, dolls, miniatures and other treats for the child in all of us — showcasing fabulous pedal cars by James Hopper, fantastic and surreal collage works of miniatures and children’s toys by Rockland photographer Ned Harris, maquetts of giant puppets from a production of Cinderella and The Prince Who Slays the Magic Dragon at Lincoln Center, quilts by Mary Jane Sexton, handmade dolls by Pat Mott, original “Betty Bonnet” paper dolls from before WWI and the work of many other talented regional contributors.

Under the watchful gaze of Betty Bonnet & her family, children of all ages will be able to create their own paper doll and clothes using supplied templates, crayons and colored pencils.

Curator: Joanne Potanovic
